ACT Launches the Feminist Map on July 27, 2026 with Broad Attendance from Partners, Parliamentarians, and Representatives of the European Union
ACT launched the Feminist Map during a distinguished ceremony that saw wide attendance from representatives of women’s organizations and initiatives, a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, as well as representatives of the European Union, the Foundation’s partners, and those concerned with women’s rights issues.
The launch of the map culminated ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening networking among women’s organizations and initiatives across various governorates, and providing an interactive platform that helps highlight their roles, facilitate access to their services, and enhance cooperation among them to support the rights of women and girls.
The ceremony was marked by an atmosphere of joy and warmth, as attendees exchanged congratulations on the launch of the map, affirming the importance of this initiative in unifying feminist efforts, strengthening partnerships, and creating a space for communication and the exchange of expertise among various stakeholders in the field of women’s rights.
The event concluded with an emphasis on continuing joint work to support the feminist movement in Egypt, and to expand the scope of benefit from the map as a knowledge-based and practical tool that contributes to enhancing access to women’s organizations and initiatives, and supports their efforts in serving women and girls.
