ACT Participates in the Second Phase of the Women, Peace and Security Training to Strengthen Trainers’ Capacities
Continuing its efforts to build capacities in the field of women and peace issues, a team from ACT participated in the second phase of the specialized training on the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, following the successful completion of the first phase.
The second phase was held in July 2025 and brought together project teams from CARE Egypt, ACT, and representatives of partner associations participating in the Civil Society Organizations Capacity Building Project. Participants represented partner organizations from Sohag, Assiut, Giza, Qalyubia, and Cairo.
This phase focused on Training of Trainers (ToT) and was conducted at the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA), affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The training built on the first phase held in June and formed part of the ongoing partnership between CARE Egypt and CCCPA.
The training provided participants with the skills and tools required to become effective trainers and specialists in the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, ensuring broader dissemination and application of this knowledge within their communities.
ACT’s participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting and empowering women and strengthening their vital role in peacebuilding and security at both local and national levels.
